 School Resource Officer Unit

This unit is responsible for the coordination of relations between the Northern Burlington County Regional School District the Mansfield Twp Police Department. The unit's goal is three pronged: Teaching, Law enforcement, and Counseling. Officer presence is kept in the schools to serve the community during the school year.

Officers serving in the unit  are certified School Resource Officers by both the National Association of School Resource Officers  and the D.A.R.E. School Resource Officer Program.

NetSmartz® is an interactive, educational safety resource from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® and Boys & Girls Clubs of America for children (ages 5-17), parents, guardians, educators, and law enforcement that uses age-appropriate, 3-D activities to teach children how to stay safer on the Internet.
