| Records Division |
| |
| The Records Division's primary responsibility is to
ensure the safe keeping and dissemination of police reports, motor
vehicle crash reports, firearms applications, special parking permits
and other community forms. |

| Community Policing Unit |
| |
| The Community Policing Unit's primary
responsibility is to bridge the gap between the residents of Mansfield
Twp and the Police Department. The officers in the unit provide
responses and recommendations to community concerns, as well as set up
meetings with community organizations and neighborhood watch group |

| Traffic Unit |
| |
| The Traffic Unit works along with the Community
Policing Unit and responds to addressing the traffic complaints of the
community. The unit is also includes the Fatal Crash Reconstruction
Team, which is a specialized unit of officers with extensive training in
the vehicle dynamics for the purpose reconstructing crashes that result
in serious injury or fatality. |

| Detective Bureau |
| |
| The Detective Bureau assists patrol in criminal
investigations. The Bureau was started in November of 2006. The
Detective Bureau works together with the Community Policing Unit in
addressing criminal issues facing our community. |

| School Resource Officer Unit |
| |
| The School Resource Officer Unit's primary objective is to be
the liaison between the Northern Burlington Regional School District
and the Mansfield Township Police Department. All S.R.O.U. officers
receive specialized training from both the National Association of
School Resource Officers and the D.A.R.E.
